Generations of Love

“Great-Grandmother, meet your great-grandaughter for the first time.”  This is one of my last, and favorite memories – visiting my grandma and enjoying her interactation with Samuel and meeting Elizabeth.  My grandma, nearly blind, clutched Elizabeth close… to see her… to adore her.    She died just two months later and is now enjoying her heavenly home.  I love her and miss her.  I am so happy to have and to share this picture.  To all of the mothers, grandmothers, and great-grandmothers in our lives:  Happy Mother’s Day!
