Springing to Life

Oh spring, where art thou?

Spring has been very, very slow here…  We set records for the number of days below 40 degrees.  That’s just not right.  I was looking at pictures from Lydia’s birth last spring and her baptism weekend.  We were outside in short sleeves.  We had green grass and young leaves and tulips blooming.  This year we are at least a month behind, BUT we are starting to see some signs of spring!  Here are a few pictures I took yesterday in the yard.

Oh wait...that's an evergreen! Ha!

Those will be my lilacs. Don't they just look fuzzy? I can't wait to smell them!!

This is our aspen tree in the very back of the yard.

This is my rhubarb! Dakota Rhubarb Crunch...I will be making you soon!
