Stools

How did I live without these?  The kids or the stools…but in this case, I’m specifically informing you of the stools.

(And please pardon my half dressed daughter.  It’s a problem.  One end or the other is usually being removed.  Some days I just give up…dressing and redressing, again and again.)

Anyway, I got these new stools this week.  I’ve never before had a house with a counter or island where I could use stools.  Now the kids do everything up at the counter;  legos, playdoh, Mr. Potato Head facial reconstruction, snacks, cookie baking, coloring and painting….  They love to sit up there and I love it too.  I was weary of pulling out all the kitchen chairs and bending, hunching, squatting, reaching to sweep under all the kitchen table legs.  It gave me daytime aches and nighttime nightmeres.  Not really, I’m just whining.  And now, I don’t have to whine anymore, about that anyway.  But seriously, how do children deposit so much onto the floor?  I swear, sometimes it seems more is on the floor then what they started with on the table or counter.  It’s frightening.  Clean up is now much easier than before.  I’m smiling.  I’m happy, no, I’m elated.

Ha Ha Ha! When I first read the title, I thought we were talking about bowel movements! Only from the minds of mothers with toddlers.
