A foot of snow, a pregnant woman, and a shovel.

It’s not a great combination.  My hips hurt.

My husband left for a conference for three days and we got dumped on.  We bought a new home in August and it has a big (wide) driveway.  We don’t own a snowblower.  My husband usually has a plow blade and loves to plow, but we sold our last one and we’re still looking for a new one…but as I mentioned, he wasn’t here anyway.  I didn’t get everything shoveled, but I got some shoveled.  It was a two day process.    The first day,  I made a path to the mailbox and cleared the walkway.  The second day I dug out a path to the end of the driveway for the suburban.  That was because on the third day, today, I had to get out to take Samuel to preschool.  Did I mention it’s -10 degrees here?  Let’s not discuss the windchill.

Here are some pictures…three days post snowfall.
